Harbour Lodge - Marsaxlokk

My previous visit set high expectations, but harbour lodge exceeded them this time, especially with the warm hospitality. I enjoyed the quiet location, perfect for relaxation.

Everything was nice, including attentive staff and stunning location close enough to the port. We booked queen room that was complete with 2 double beds, a balcony, as example as advertised. We truly enjoyed savoury breakfasts with pastry, yoghurts and cheese. Everything met what was needed, had a real good stay for 1 night.

location just next door to italy and malta, and bus stop and local restaurants and harbour. for tea or coffee visit cafe de paris nearby.

Couples seeking a cozy stay

The staff were friendly and accommodating,, always ready to assist with any request. One of the highlights was the airport shuttle, already waiting for me before I even stepped off the plane, excellent service!

It wasn't exactly cheap,, but for the experience, it was still acceptable.

Just returned from a stay and found the shower had low water pressure, absoluteley unacceptable for the price. The fridge didn't cool either, yet they expect guests to manage, how thoughtful. I was certaainly hoping for an upgrade or at least some form of hospitality for the inconvenience, but guess that was too much to ask for. Almost gave a good review, but could'nt.

A charming fishing village escape

The view from my room's small balcony was good, with the vibrant market just a stroll away. The daily breakfast was a satisfying start to each morning.

The shower pressure left much to be desired, and although the rooms were clean, some fittings seemed outdated, affecting comfort.

The cleanliness could definitely improve!!! The bathroom issues were a letdown, with inadequate shower controls making for a frustrating experience. Wi-Fi reliability was also inconsistent, quite bothersome!!!

Room cleanliness did not meet expectations.

The very large veranda offered fine views of the harbour, and I loved enjoying my continental breakfast there. The shower was excellent and the entire place was kept very clean. The staff were really helpful.

The room lacked sufficient storage space.

Harbour lodge is in a great spot, just a short walk from the sea. The staff were really helpful and the daily market nearby is a nice touch. I loved the delicious breakfast served every morning, it made my day start perfectly. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants around for dinner options.

Good atmosphere, ideal if you appreciate really good hospitality and the airy, modern rooms offer comfortable amenities and complimentary coffee and tea.

Great Location and Comfortable Rooms

The location was fantastic, just a short stroll from Marsaxlokk Harbour and the local restaurants, made everything so accessible. Our room had a lovely terrace that added to our experience, and we were kinda surprised to be able to check in earlier than expected. The breakfast options were quite limited, lacking variety and freshness.

I had a lovely stay! The breakfast was tasty and served at convenient hours. I appreciated the included airport transfers. I did notice some plumbing noises in my room that could be distracting.

This place is spotless! the staff here are top-notch, and the location is fantastic being so close to the beautiful marina. They serve up delicious breakfasts, and their coffee is just the best - really made my day! 🌟
